Node Rular

Node Ruler was designed to transform measuring and drawing from purely visual processes into experiences that can also be perceived through the sense of touch.

The repeating recesses and protrusions along its surface refer to measurement intervals, allowing the user to follow distance by hand. These rhythmic reliefs also establish the object’s distinctive formal character, derived directly from its function.

Node Ruler is therefore not only a precise measuring instrument but also a tactile design object through which measurement can be both seen and felt.
