At the outset of the design process, the idea of tailoring a garment for a seating element played a central role in shaping the concept. Therefore, the primary focus in the design of the Delta Chair and Stool is the upholstery.

The intent behind the upholstery design was to have a minimalistic garment-like cover that wraps and embraces the existing construction. During this process, the mathematical precision achieved in the upholstery guided the formation of the construction itself. Thanks to its geometry, the Delta Chair and Stool can be stacked for efficient storage and are also suitable for outdoor use without upholstery.
